Running Together, Growing Together: Beauty & Wellness at the Quantum Nicosia Marathon 2024
There’s something truly special about stepping out of our daily routines, lacing up our running shoes, and taking on a challenge—not just as individuals, but as a team. This year, 20 passionate members of the Beauty & Wellness Group, representing Quick Spa, DESSANGE, Hamam Omerye & ILIOS SPA, came together to participate in the Quantum Nicosia Marathon 2024, and what an experience it was!
On Sunday, December 8th, the streets of Nicosia were alive with energy, as over 4,000 runners from 38 countries gathered to compete in five exhilarating races. The city was transformed into a buzzing sports arena, where determination, excitement, and unity filled the air. Among the runners, our team took part in the 5.5 km Corporate Race, running side by side, cheering each other on, and proving that the strength of a team is not just measured in speed, but in support, motivation, and shared goals.
More Than Just a Race
From the very first step, it was clear—this wasn’t just about running. It was about connection, teamwork, and pushing past limits together. Each stride was a reminder that, much like in our daily work, success comes not from individual effort alone, but from the collective spirit that drives us forward.
The energy was contagious. As we ran through the vibrant streets of the capital, the sound of footsteps and cheering voices blended into a powerful rhythm of unity. Some of us aimed to beat our personal records, others simply enjoyed the journey, but at the heart of it all was a shared sense of accomplishment.

At Beauty & Wellness, we believe that the best teams aren’t built only during working hours. True bonding happens in the moments we challenge ourselves, support one another, and celebrate victories—big or small. This marathon was a perfect reflection of that. It wasn’t just about who ran the fastest; it was about showing up, running together, and crossing the finish line as one.
The smiles, the high-fives, the feeling of crossing that finish line together—it’s these moments that make us stronger. They remind us that teamwork goes beyond the workplace; it’s a mindset, a way of being, a shared commitment to grow, support, and inspire one another.
